¡Buenos días!

Finalizamos semana y mes. Vienen ahora tres días de descanso que os van a venir muy bien para disfrutar del buen tiempo en la calle. Eso sí, por favor, seguid las indicaciones que nos digan para poder seguir avanzando en la lucha contra el virus: distancia de seguridad, lavado de manos, no tocar cosas...
Tampoco os olvidéis el domingo de felicitar a vuestras madres. Tened algún detalle bonito con ellas, un dibujo, un mensaje con cariño, ayudarlas en las tareas de la casa...

Como el viernes no hay clase, Gema no os va a poner tarea de RELIGIÓN. Le hemos dicho que vais a aprovechar para revisar si ya le habéis ido enviando todas las tareas que os ha pedido.

Tenía pensado avanzar en inglés y hacer hoy la Página 85 de LISTENING. Pero, en vista de las fotos de las tareas del lunes, creo que debemos detenernos más en las tres formas de expresar el futuro que aparecen en la Unidad 8.

ENGLISH 

1º  PLEASE READ this carefully

There are three different ways to express future in English: 

Present continuous.  For plans or  fixed  arrangements

I am going to London next summer.

Are you doing anything special tomorrow?  

Going to. For future intentions or plans that are not completely decided yet.

I'm going to visit Australia one day.

Are you going to be at home on Sunday?

Will / won´t. To make predictions about the future or decisions you make for the future in a moment. 

They won´t visit us this summer

2º GO TO STUDENT´S BOOK page 121 (GRAMMAR REFERENCE)  and have a look at all the examples there.

This week we are only using the present continuous and going to. Next week we will review the use of Will /won't.

Hoy martes, recordad que tenéis que centraros en Lengua Española, Plástica y Ciencias Naturales.

2º Watch these VIDEOS before opening the books to start learning about LIGHT

3º. Try to get a torch (linterna) to be used in this chapter.

¡Buenos días!

Espero que hayáis podido disfrutar de un merecido descanso y de un pequeño paseo por la calle o por la Dehesa de la Villa,  adoptando las debidas medidas de seguridad.

Resulta un poco extraño acostumbrarse de nuevo a algo tan cotidiano como salir a la calle, ¿verdad?.
Cuesta volver a retomar algo que hace más de cuarenta días nos parecía lo más normal del mundo. Poco a poco, si seguimos las recomendaciones, podremos recuperar esa normalidad.

Hoy comenzamos esta semana con el nuevo Plan de Trabajo que nos va a ayudar a todos, esperamos, a ponernos al día y a poder seguir avanzando con una mayor concentración y efectividad.

SEGUIMIENTO 24 DE ABRIL

¡Buenas tardes!


Terminamos ya otra semana de trabajo intenso desde casa. Hoy hemos felicitado a Berta por su cumpleaños.

Ha quedado claro que es muy difícil entonar todos bien y a la vez el cumpleaños feliz, casi imposible. Tenemos que seguir intentándolo. Pero bueno, nuestra intención ha sido buena.

Sabéis ya que a partir de la próxima  semana comenzamos con un nuevo plan de trabajo que nos permita avanzar de manera más segura y sin que nadie se quede muy atrasado en la entrega de tareas.

En general estoy muy contenta y agradecida por el esfuerzo e interés que la mayoría de vosotros está mostrando en la realización y envío de las tareas que os pido. Por favor, que no se os queden muchas cosas atrasadas... luego es más difícil ponerse al día.

Esta semana os he podido ver a casi todos en sesiones ZOOM, el miércoles para Natural Science y explicaros los conceptos más importantes sobre el calor y hoy viernes, con los seis grupos que hemos hecho para presentar las fichas sobre animales en peligro que os pedí el viernes pasado para inglés.

Ayer por la tarde publiqué el resultado final con todas las que me habían llegado (que son casi todas, por cierto). Hemos ido viendo cada ficha  a la vez que las comentabais conmigo y con Laura, nuestra auxiliar de conversación que se ha unido a los grupos de por la tarde.

Poco  a poco, tanto vosotros como nosotras, vamos descubriendo trucos y herramientas nuevas que nos permiten seguir avanzando en los estudios, aunque los colegios sigan cerrados. Nuestras ganas de aprender no pueden ser vencidas por este virus, ni por ninguno.

¡Juntos vamos a salir de esto, más fuertes y más capaces!

¡Buenos días!

Es ya viernes y nos toca retomar los libros de texto, tras la breve pausa de ayer, para seguir avanzando con nuestros estudios.

Estoy deseando ver todos los marcapáginas, reseñas de libros y trabajos varios que realizasteis con motivo del Día del Libro. Espero que hayáis podido ver también los diferentes videos y presentaciones que puse en distintos momentos del día.

Vuestros compañeros de 6º, coordinados por Alba y la colaboración de otros profes, han elaborado este vídeo cuento para celebrar el Día del Libro con todo el centro.  Podéis velo en este enlace.

VÍDEO CUENTO ALUMNOS DE SEXTO

Como ya os hemos comunicado, a partir de la semana que viene vamos a empezar con un PLAN DE TRABAJO nuevo. 

Os vuelvo a recordar los correos electrónicos de vuestros profesores, donde tenéis que remitir las tareas correspondientes que os solicitemos cada uno. Ya sabéis que cada uno tenemos que evaluar teniendo en cuenta las tareas que nos vais enviando.

Es necesario que entendáis que en el caso de Maribel y Mª Ángeles, que dan clase a todos los alumnos del colegio, no puedan responderos tan rápidamente como puedan hacer vuestros tutores, con menos alumnos.

Hoy tendremos cinco grupos ZOOM de conversación con LAURA, para que nos presentéis en pequeño grupo, el animal en peligro sobre el que realizasteis vuestro trabajo. Ayer recopilé todos y podéis verlo en la presentación que subí por la tarde.

Para el resto del día, mientras no estaís en ZOOM este es nuestro...

Buenas tardes!


Espero que estéis disfrutando de una jornada muy especial, relajada y diferente a las do otros días, porque hoy estamos celebrando un día muy especial.

Os dedico un pequeño video que ilustra muy bien el poder de la lectura, el valor de los libros y cómo estos son capaces de abrir nuestras mentes e iluminar nuestros caminos. Espero que os guste

 ENTRE TODOS HEMOS HECHO ESTE LIBRO

Como no hemos podido exponer nuestros trabajos en las mesas de la entrada, como otros años por estas fechas, he intentado crear un libro / presentación recopilando todas las fichas de animales en peligro que me habéis estado enviando estos días.
Recordad que ayer, 22 de abril, se celebraba también el día de la Tierra.. Por eso creo que hacemos un homenaje doble a estas dos celebraciones.

Como había libertad para elegir, encontraréis algunos animales repetidos y, desgraciadamente hay muchos más animales en peligro de los que podríamos haber incluido en esta pequeña muestra.

Día del Libro

Todo el personal del colegio os quiere desear un Feliz Día del Libro con este vídeo

Aunque sólo sea por hoy, vamos a cambiar los libros de texto por libros de lectura. A ver si conseguimos un poquito más de tiempo para disfrutar leyendo y aprendiendo sobre diferentes autores. Apartarnos un ratito de las pantallas y retomar la lectura de nuestros libros favoritos. Leed a vuestros padres, a vuestros hermanos pequeños, a vuestros abuelos por videollamada... leed, leed, leed y disfrutad leyendo.

Blanca en su blog ha hecho un trabajo maravilloso y un gran esfuerzo para poder celebrar con todos nosotros este día con textos, manualidades y juegos en español que ella misma ha recopilado y elaborado. Leedlo todo con detenimiento y admiración, aprended de los grandes autores de todos los tiempos... y de la fantástica profesora que tenéis de Lengua Española.

I would like to thank Rebecca for her big effort and the fantastic job she's done in helping us know a little bit more about her favourite author, William Shakespeare.  He's probably the most important author in English Literature,. Shakespeare lived during the years that in Spain were known as The Golden Age. He even died on the same year and on the same day as the most popular Spanish writer:  Miguel de Cervantes.

EARTH DAY

Hoy se celebra el Día de la Tierra 2020 y hay diversas actividades online e información que puede resultar interesante. Os dejo aquí un enlace de National Geographic Kids

También me han llamado la atención estas dos imágenes de cómo la falta de actividad humana, industrial y contaminante estos días, a causa del COVID-19, están beneficiando al aire que respiramos y a la salud de nuestro planeta. A ver si cuando retomemos la actividad somos más conscientes de la necesidad de conservarlo.

STUDENT´S BOOK Page 82

1º  GETTING AWAY. Think about the best holidays you remember. 

In these days we need to stay at home all the time. We couldn't  even travel for Easter holidays. I think it can be a good idea to think about our  holidays in other occasions. 
Remembering some pleasant experiences you may have had in the past, when you were away visiting new places.
I have done that myself. I´ve decorated a notice board that is next to my computer with a selection of pictures I took in my travels. It makes me smile when I see them and think about those times.
  

2º. Think about the questions for activity 1 before reading the text. You don't need to write anything. Just think about it.

3º. Read the text as you listen. Match the pictures with the texts. (activity 2) You only need to write the letter of the picture and the name of the person.

4º. Copy activities 3 and 4 and answer them in your notebook.

1º Check homework. Correct mistakes. Remember that for activity 2 you had to use full sentences.

In activity 2 c) we can consider also melting (solid to liquid) aand in 2 d) condensation (gas to liquid) can also be correct.

2º. Listen to this audio and decide what are they making with thermal energy. Do activity 3.

3º. Read SEARCH AND DISCOVER 97 the following article and do activity 4 on your notebook. Remember you must copy all the questions.

SEGUIMIENTO MARTES 21 de abril

¡Buenas tardes!

Hemos tenido otra jornada de trabajo intenso. Estamos muy contentas por vuestro buen rendimiento tras las vacaciones.

Mañana necesito veros a todos en ZOOM para repasar los principales conceptos de la unidad de Natural Science sobre el calor, antes de pasar a ver el apartado de la luz.

Os he dividido en tres grupos mezclando 5º A y 5º B, para poder organizarnos mejor.

Esta es mi propuesta. Voy a enviaros las invitaciones según esta tabla. Pero, si alguien necesita un cambio porque el horario le viene mal. por favor, que me lo indique y lo cambio de grupo.
