APRENDIENDO DESDE CASA. DÍA VIGÉSIMO NOVENO

Miércoles, 29   de abril de 2020

¡Buenos días!

Tenía pensado avanzar en inglés y hacer hoy la Página 85 de LISTENING. Pero, en vista de las fotos de las tareas del lunes, creo que debemos detenernos más en las tres formas de expresar el futuro que aparecen en la Unidad 8.

  Plan para Hoy

ENGLISH

1º  PLEASE READ this carefully

There are three different ways to express future in English:

Present continuous.  For plans or  fixed  arrangements
I am going to London next summer.
Are you doing anything special tomorrow?

Going to. For future intentions or plans that are not completely decided yet.

I'm going to visit Australia one day.
Are you going to be at home on Sunday?

Will / won´t. To make predictions about the future or decisions you make for the future in a moment.

They won´t visit us this summer

I think it will rain today

2º GO TO STUDENT´S BOOK page 121 (GRAMMAR REFERENCE)  and have a look at all the examples there.

This week we are only using the present continuous and going to. Next week we will review the use of Will /won't.

3º Check homework. Correct mistakes. Be specially CAREFUL today, please.

2º: Watch these videos about the use of the present continuous to express plans for the future.

Here is another one with explanations in Spanish

4º. Do this grammar worksheet to revise these two forms. You can do it in your notebook or download the word document and work on it.

Click to download WORD document.

If you work on the WORD document, please submit it to me as an attached document  in an email (adjunto de correo electrónico) as you did with the animal fact file.

If you do it in your notebook, please send me a photo with all the activities done. Make sure the quality of the photo allows me to read, correct and grade your worK. It is going to be part of your evaluation of UNIT 8 (Grammar)

Please don´t rush!  Read SB  page 121 first, watch the videos and then do the activities very carefully.

Have a good Day!
